NDS Advisor started in 2009 as a two-person practice above a spice exporter's office near the old harbour. Fifteen years on, we're a 60-person firm — but the discipline that opened our first file is still the one that opens every file today.

and a plain promise.
NDS Advisor was founded in 2009 by N. D. Savla, a chartered accountant who had spent a decade auditing shipping and export firms around Kochi's old harbour. He started the practice with a simple observation: most businesses in Kerala weren't looking for a firm that could file the fastest — they wanted one that actually understood what they were filing for.
That principle shaped how we grew. Rather than expanding into every service a CA firm could offer, we added disciplines only when clients asked for them — audit, then GST, then incorporation, then NRI advisory as Kerala's diaspora grew more complex to serve. Today the firm spans six practice areas and four Kerala offices, but every engagement still starts the way the first one did: with a conversation, not a template.

Founded on Convent Road
N. D. Savla opens a two-person practice serving export and trading clients near Kochi harbour.
Audit practice formalised
The firm adds statutory and tax audit as a dedicated discipline, taking on its first listed-subsidiary clients.
Marine Drive office opens
The growing team moves to its current Marine Drive premises, adding a dedicated corporate advisory desk.
GST transition desk
A dedicated GST team is formed ahead of the national rollout, onboarding over 400 businesses in its first year.
NRI advisory launched
In response to growing client demand, the firm builds a cross-border tax and FEMA practice for Kerala's diaspora.
Kerala-wide expansion
Offices open in Kottayam, Thrissur and Calicut, bringing the same engagement model to four cities.
60-person firm
NDS Advisor now serves over 6,000 businesses and 1,200 NRI clients across Kerala and abroad.
